Chris Pirillo was one of the South Park cursor kings of the early web. Back when South Park was exploding in popularity, he went all-in—cranking out a ton of themed cursors that turned your mouse into Cartman, Kenny, Stan, Kyle, and pretty much anyone else from the show. His cursors felt fast, fan-driven, and very “internet of the moment.” They weren’t precious art pieces—they were made to ride the hype, spread fast, and let fans show off their obsession right on the desktop. That volume mattered. He helped normalize the idea that pop-culture fandom belonged everywhere, even in something as tiny as a mouse pointer.
