User Submissions & Online Cursor Editor

By using the Online Cursor Editor and submitting cursors, graphics, metadata, or other materials ("User Content") to the Website, you agree to the following terms:

1. Ownership & Licensing Warranties

You represent, warrant, and covenant that:

• You are the original creator of the User Content, or you possess all necessary legal rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to upload, publish, and distribute it.
• Your User Content does not infringe upon, misappropriate, or violate the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
• You have explicitly selected the appropriate license model (such as CC0, CC BY 4.0, CC BY-NC 4.0, CC BY-SA 4.0, or Personal Use Only) during the editor submission flow, and you agree that this license grant is irrevocable once published.
• If you name a person other than yourself as the creator of the User Content, you represent that you have that person's permission to attribute the work to them and to license it under the selected license.

2. License Grant to Cursors-4U

To enable us to operate, promote, and distribute the library, you grant Cursors-4U a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, adapt, publish, compile, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Website's operations, in any format or channel now known or later developed.

This license includes the right to prepare the User Content for publication and distribution — for example, to edit or replace titles, descriptions, and keywords (including with automatically generated metadata), to resize, regenerate, or re-encode cursor images, and to create preview images, thumbnails, and packaged downloads derived from your User Content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any moral rights or rights of attribution that would prevent these uses.

Submissions are voluntary and non-confidential. You will not be entitled to any compensation for your User Content or for our use of it under this license, and submitting content does not create any obligation on our part to publish, retain, or promote it.

3. Content Guidelines & Prohibitions

You agree not to upload, create, or submit any User Content that:

• Contains copyrighted works, trademarks, or trade dress belonging to others, unless you have written authorization from the owner.
• Contains offensive, harassing, abusive, threatening, pornographic, obscene, or hateful imagery or text.
• Contains malware, scripts, or malicious code designed to harm, disrupt, or exploit the Website, our servers, or other visitors.
• Exceeds the established submission limits (such as hourly or daily upload rates).

4. Moderation, Removal, and Deletion

Cursors-4U reserves the absolute right, but does not assume the obligation, to pre-screen, monitor, review, reject, modify, or permanently delete any User Content at any time, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice or liability to you.

5. Removal Requests & License Survival

If you are the creator of published User Content and want it removed, contact us at the email address below; we will consider removal requests in good faith and may ask for reasonable proof that you are the creator. Because submissions are anonymous, we cannot always verify the original submitter.

Removing User Content from the Website does not terminate licenses already granted: copies downloaded by visitors before removal remain licensed under the license you selected at submission, and the license you granted to Cursors-4U in Section 2 survives removal to the extent needed for backups, caches, and records.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cursors-4U, its administrators, operators, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, obligations, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Online Cursor Editor or the Website
• Any User Content you submit, upload, or create
• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademark rights, trade secrets, or privacy rights

Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The website will be available at all times
• The content will be error-free or accurate
• Downloaded files will be free of viruses or malware

We recommend scanning downloaded files with antivirus software before use.

Limitation of Liability
