Editor Keyboard Shortcuts
Enhance your cursor design and animation efficiency using these standard keyboard shortcuts and modifier keys. Shortcuts are active automatically whenever you are working on the canvas and aren't focused on text, size, or description input fields.
Input Auto-Commit & Focus Lock
If you are typing in the Cursor Name or Canvas Size fields, canvas shortcuts are temporarily paused to prevent accidental tool triggers. Press Enter inside any input box to automatically save your change and blur focus (releasing the keyboard lock), returning focus instantly back to the drawing board!

Revert mistakes, repeat steps, and cancel active tool actions quickly.
Press Ctrl / Cmd + Z to undo your last paint stroke, layer move, hotspot calibration, or selection change. The editor maintains an active history buffer of up to 30 steps.
Press Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + Z or Ctrl / Cmd + Y to re-apply any action you recently reverted.
Press Escape to instantly cancel active drag-and-drop image placements, cancel the click hotspot picker, abort active polygon selection drafts, discard active marquee masks, or snap floating tool flyout panels (Color, Layers, Pointers) back to their default sidebar docks.
Stage Navigation & Zooming
Gliding the stage camera viewport and calibrating your pixel perspective.
Scroll your Mouse Wheel directly over the central canvas to dynamically zoom in and out. Scrolling up zooms in toward the pointer, and scrolling down zooms out. You can also view exact zoom percentages in the bottom stage action dock.
Hold down Spacebar and click-drag with your mouse pointer anywhere on the canvas to pan and float the camera viewport. Releasing the Spacebar returns you instantly back to your previous drawing tool.
Press the ← ↑ ↓ → Arrow Keys while holding Spacebar (or when the Pan view tool is active) to nudge the viewport camera in 16px increments.

Manipulating selection masks and passing pixels between frames and layers.
Press Ctrl / Cmd + A to select every pixel on the canvas. Press Escape to clear your selection mask completely.
Press Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + I to invert the selection mask, switching which areas of the canvas are paint-locked and paint-enabled.
Press Ctrl / Cmd + C to copy active selection pixels to the clipboard. Press Ctrl / Cmd + V to paste those pixels as a floating import draft, ready to be positioned, resized, or committed on any layer or frame.
Press Delete or Backspace while a selection mask is active to immediately wipe out all pixels inside the selected boundaries on the active layer.
Hold down Shift while drawing a selection box (or using the Magic Wand) to add the new region to your active selection. Hold Alt while selecting to subtract the drawn region from your active selection.
