Please read the instructions. It says to "Download Right Click And Save" You're probably using mozilla firefox. Right Click and choose "Save Link As..."

4. Click On "Pointers" Tab
5. Click Browse, Find The Cursor In My Documents or where ever you saved it, and click "Open" then click "Apply"

Do as the image says and Right Click the Download Image and choose "Save AS..." But in your case, I'm guessing you are using Mozilla firefox. You have to choose "Save Target As..." If you don't and just click on the download image using Firefox it downloads the cursor into the screen.

If you are using mozilla firefox you have to right click the download image and choose "save link as.." or else it downloads the cursor into the screen which is just a bunch of text.
