I am really happy with how things turned out.  I spent nearly 4 months researching and implementing version 4.0 and I am not done yet.  I haven't been this dedicated on this website since I started it 20 years ago!  Thanks so much for being with me for 20 years!   

I wanted to give everyone a quick rundown of some of the things I've updated. Check out the official roadmap.

What's New:

• New design with some flavor of the old
  • Mobile friendly
  • Dual theme with light and dark modes
  • Sets are now carousels, so you can view more than one cursor at a time
  • Multi-size cursors now show every size inside the .cur file
    • Embed code is size-selectable up to 128x128.  Browsers only support up to 128x128.
    • All future cursors going forward will be like this if they have multi size.
    • Listing pages will show 96x96 preview images if they have it.  If they don't, it's the largest size under 96x96.
  • Download cursors from anywhere on the site
  • Related Cursors and More by Creator tabs on entry pages
  • Search that's pretty fast and pretty good
  • Trending page
    • Shows daily and weekly trending cursors
    • Shows daily trending creators
  • Filters on every listing page
    • Most viewed
    • Most rated
    • Most commented
  • Tag pages that are AI-generated (there are still some bad tags — the AI needs refinement)
  • Please update your bookmarks.  All the cursor URLs have been changed.
  • Comments are back for now
• Favorites system
  • Save up to 1,000 favorite cursors
  • Custom CSS codes for pointer and hover

• New servers and a faster CDN behind Cloudflare's global edge network

While this beta is ongoing, I have a bunch of stuff to fix. There are still broken links, broken cursors, issues I haven't gotten to yet, and new features I'm still testing. The new system is pretty robust and I am able to find a lot of issues from the old website that I never knew existed.  Here's what I'm working on. I don't have a full timeline for when these will be done.

• User system
• Automated upload system
• Upload images that turn into .cur and .ani files automatically
• Marketplace system so people can sell their cursors (I don't plan to charge a fee for this)
• Linux cursor support — this is being explored
• Site-wide live preview for whatever cursor you select, similar to the favorites page
• Creating a subdomain where the old design will live as some one suggested
